Troubleshooting why my site is not showing images, found some differences in the page code rendered.

Nitter page code for: view-source:https://nitter.net/jack

<link rel="preload" type="image/png" href="[/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_banners%2F12%2F1742427520%2F1500x500](https://nitter.net/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_banners%2F12%2F1742427520%2F1500x500)" as="image" />

<meta property="og:image" content="https://nitter.net/pic/pbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_images%2F1661201415899951105%2FazNjKOSH_400x400.jpg" />

My site page code for: view-source:https://feed.mysite.com/jack

<link rel="preload" type="image/png" href="[/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_banners%2F12%2F1742427520%2F1500x500](https://mysite.com/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_banners%2F12%2F1742427520%2F1500x500)" as="image" />
<link rel="preload" type="image/png" href="[/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_images%2F1661201415899951105%2FazNjKOSH_400x400.jpg](https://mysite.com/pic/**https%3A%2F**%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_images%2F1661201415899951105%2FazNjKOSH_400x400.jpg)" as="image" />
<meta property="og:image" content="http://mysite.com/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_images%2F1661201415899951105%2FazNjKOSH_400x400.jpg" />
<meta property="twitter:image:src" content="http://mysite.com/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fprofile_images%2F1661201415899951105%2FazNjKOSH_400x400.jpg" />

It appears my site is inserting an extra "https://" on the lines which load the image.

Is this something I can correct or a glitch in the docker build?

Is it wrong to use Grok to troubleshoot nitter issues?

In case anyone else gets stuck on this problem, for me it appeared to be an Apache reverse-proxy issue. It was resolved by adjusting the business portion of the directive to this:

ProxyPreserveHost On
ProxyPass /.well-known !
ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:8999/ nocanon
ProxyPassReverse / http://127.0.0.1:8999/

AllowEncodedSlashes NoDecode

# RewriteEngine on
# Critical headers:
RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Proto "https"
RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Host "nitter.mysite.com"

Hope this helps someone in the future.
